Our Services

Note:  We currently provide on-site photography with a studio location pending. We will take 15% off each session fee for those sessions that take place within Purcellville.  This does not apply to CDs, DVDs, photos or other items not related to the photo session itself.   

Onsite within Loudoun County
We will provide our photography services at your home, business or favorite outdoor location, with or without the studio equipment (studio strobes, soft-boxes, backdrops, etc).  The fee for this service without the studio equipment is $100.  Please note we will also provide complimentary, but limited digital editing services to remove the most noticeable blemishes.  We can also help reduce the appearance of bags under one’s eyes and smooth wrinkles, soften the skin and slightly whiten teeth if requested (consider this option prior to ordering canvas prints, which will look remarkable on your wall).  We will also work to meet other requests, but limit our complimentary services because it can be incredibly time intensive.  

We also provide on-site services, with studio equipment for $200.  The equipment we use will vary, depending on the setting, which includes studio lighting with various attachments (depending on the location and desired photo effect), backdrops, stools, minor props, etc.  Once you’ve decided on clothing, we can work to coordinate the color backdrop if you desire such.  Depending on the equipment used, please plan on an additional 30 minutes of preparation time before your session.  Considering this is at your location, take advantage of the extra time to get ready for your photos session.  Basically, we take the time understand your preferences and customize your session to ensure you are completely satisifed; there is no rush, line, or "fast-food" approach to our services. Please refer to the “getting started” session of this website. 

Headshots/upper body portraits (business pictures) - $100 ($75 per person for more than one scheduled session at the same time and location).  We will bring our equipment to your location for your headshots / upper body shots.  We have multiple color backdrops, as well as portable lighting, and will also bring a posing chair and posing table (depending in the style of photo you desire). We will completely edit your favorite photo, if you desire, to soften the skin, reduce wrinkles, and remove blemishes - at no additional charge. This cost of this small investment is less than the cost of a bad first impression from websites and business cards.

Senior Portraits – Senior photos fall within one of the most sought after categories of photography. As most students reach the end of their high school experience, they work with a photographer to help depict, through images, their life during the time of their senior year. One will likely share these photos with a variety of people, who in turn will reflect back on this time for years to come.

Regardless of the reason one seeks a professional photographer, we understand everyone wants to look their best and have their moments captured in an outstanding manner. Therefore, we've put together a program for seniors and their families, and provide a variety of photo options at a reasonable price. We typically charge $100 for a standard on-site sitting fee, which does not include studio equipment such as backdrops or studio lighting. However, for the seniors we work with, we will provide three separate on-site sessions for $150, which is 50% off our standard sitting fees. We will also discuss with our customers the option to have a series of photos taken with a choice of backdrops and studio lighting. Plus, we offer high quality images at a price slightly higher than our cost, and one can order these images directly from our website. Although we make very little money on the photos, and could certainly inflate the costs beyond that which is reasonable, we selfishly plan to advertise the quality of our services each time you share one of your photos. You can plan on paying less than $1 for a 4X6 print and under $5 for a 5X7 print, and have many more options to choose from. Plus we can use your favorite images for graduation announcements when the time comes. We also offer for sale a CD with each of the digital images from our photo sessions. In addition, we are also willing to provide digital editing services in order to enhance one's appearance.

Sports / team photography – For simplicity purposes, we will not charge the individual players for photography service, as long as the photographs are taken within a group environment.   If this is a one-on-one session outside the group session, the cost of this session will be based on the headshots fee above ($100).  Photographs will be uploaded to our web site, and trading cards and other photos or gifts can be purchased at competitive rates.  We also provide services with our portable “green screen” upon request.  If this is requested, each player will have a photo in front of a portable green screen, as well as a separate photo in the setting where the photo is taken.  The green screen allows the player’s photos to be pasted onto a wide selection of digital backdrops.  We can use the green screen for other occasions as well. 

3/6/12 month infant photography – $400 - We will travel to your home or selected site within Loudoun County three times during your child’s first year (we understand it can be difficult to travel and coordinate photo sessions with a young child, combined with busy schedule, which is why we come to you).  During your child’s first session, we will bring a baby poser that is covered with either a cloth or blanket in order to comfortably position your child at an angle best suitable for photos.  In addition, we will bring backdrop equipment, studio lighting, and various other props to fit the appropriate age of your child as the year progresses.  Please see our photo gallery for an example of what we can provide.  As with the other services, you can purchase a CD with the digital images from each of the first two sessions for $100 each, and we will provide the third CD for free.

Video Services – We do provide some video editing services for small businesses and families, in addition to the creation of photo DVDs.  We provide videos in formats appropriate for DVDs and the Internet.   We are unable to provide a standard price for this service because the possibilities are basically endless, and some requests can be incredibly time intensive. 

Digital images –This is typically where our customers save money. As noted in our "overview" section, we require no minimum purchase, and offer prints, gifts, cards and other items at extremely reasonable prices. We provide an on-line photo gallery of your photo session where you can purchase prints and photo gifts from our web site at competitive rates (standard prints of 8X10 or smaller are priced less than $8.00, unless otherwise agreed upon for certain events).   We also offer a CD with the images captured during your photo session for only $100.  If you decide you want to purchase the digital images, you will receive a CD with your digital images (all high resolution), along with a signed release that allows you to reproduce your images, e-mail your photos to friends and family, create computer screen savers, display your images with digital photo frames, or simply create your own photo slideshows on DVD.  And who knows, perhaps you’ll want to use the digital images in the future.   However, regardless if you purchase the CD with your images, you or your family can still order photos from a pro-lab through our website; we highly suggest you take advantage of the quality you will receive from our printing services.

Included digital photo editing – Minimal editing will be included with the cost of services, such as general blemish removal upon request.   Due to the amount of time necessary for certain changes, we will limit this complimentary service to the most noticeable blemishes.   We understand how important it is for each of our family members to feel comfortable with their photos, and nature might not cooperate with us on the day of your photo session.  Your photos will be in digital format, and we take advantage of today’s technology to “heal” certain imperfections. 

Expanded digital editing – For $20 per image, we will provide editing services in addition to the removal of the most noticeable blemishes.  We can create digital photo borders, soften wrinkles, reduce bags under one’s eyes, soften the skin's appearance, whiten teeth, and we will work to accommodate other requests.   There might also be an image we can change to black and white, while leaving certain pieces of color in the image, which creates an interesting look. 

DVD photo slideshow - $100 – We will place your session photos in movie slideshow to your selection of music.  We will provide you with two copies of your DVD.  If you want additional DVDs, we will provide four (4) extra DVDs for only $50.  Each DVD comes with a custom color photo label on the DVD.   If you have photos you would like us to combine with your video, we will consider working them into your photo slideshow.  Unless otherwise agreed upon, we will limit this service to 100 extra photos, in addition to your photos from your session with us.  The additional photos must be in digital format, and you must rename the photos in sequential order if you want the images to appear in a particular order in the video (otherwise, we will put the images in the order we think would look best). 

Order prints – We contract through a pro-lab, and offer a variety of print sizes, canvas prints, and photo gifts at competitive prices.  We will create an on-line photo gallery that you can pass on to your friends and family, who can then order pictures or gifts of their choice.  This gallery will remain active for 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon. In addition, for an additional $100 we will provide you with your digital images on a CD that you can e-mail, use with digital photo frames, or have printed elsewhere if you prefer. However, if you want professional quality images, we strongly suggest you consider ordering your photos and canvas prints through us.  We put forth considerable effort to ensure you get the best images for your time and money, and hope you carefully chose the manner in which you reproduce your images.  We ofter the highest quality prints at competitive rates (standard prints of 8X10 or smaller are priced less than $8.00; black & white or metallic prints are slightly more).
